| From Wantage Town Centre | Follow the B4507 out of
Wantage (past the sports centre) heading towards Uffington and the
White Horse Hill. After approx 3.5 miles there is a sign on right hand side for Sparsholt Church and Village Hall, turn right here. Follow road down into the village past the church and Star Inn on the right hand side. Holistic Horses can be found on the left hand side after the Ridings estate development. | From London | Take M4 West, exit at
junction 14 Take the A338 towards Wantage and then take the left turn on the B4192 to Swindon After approx 1.5miles turn right on the B4000 to Lambourn At the cross-roads in the middle of Lambourn village go straight on Follow road out of Lambourn and after 1 mile take the left fork signposted to Kingston Lisle Follow road up over Lambourn Downs and down Blowing Stone Hill.. At the next cross roads, turn right towards Wantage. Follow road for approx 2 miles passing signs for Westcott village, you will then see a sign for Sparsholt Church and Village Hall, turn left here. Follow road down into the village past the church and Star Inn on the right hand side. Holistic Horses can be found on the left hand side after the Ridings estate development. | From Witney, Swindon, and Oxford (Botley) |
Take the A420 West from Oxford towards Swindon. Pass exits to Abingdon and when you arrive at the roundabout signposted Stanford in the Vale and Pusey, take first exit to the left . Drive towards Standford in the Vale and through the village till you come to the A417 Faringdon - Wantage Road.Turn left towards Wantage. After the Challow Station humpback bridge, take a right hand turn to Lambourn / Childrey (B4001). Follow road round to the approach of Childrey village. As you approach the village perimeter you will see a signpost to Kingston Lisle and Sparsholt, turn right here and follow road for approx 0.5 mile. You will then arrive at a T-junction in the middle of the Sparsholt village, turn right. You will immediately pass the Star Inn on the right hand side. Holistic Horses can be found on the left hand side after the Ridings estate development. See village layout map below. |
