Hi Lisa
Just a quick update on our lovely Dakota. I must admit we tend to call her Spotty. We love her to bits, she has become one of the gang. The other two horses love her there is no fighting at all. She has won a H/T and been placed in S/J and showing.

CLOUD - SOLD
14.2hh Connemara x TB
Gelding 4  y o
Superb little horse who if he was 16hh would not be for sale. Green but on a learning curve, good to hack, snaffle mouth. Second pony type.

10 August 2007 - email from owner Sophia

Hi Lisa
I just thought I'd drop you an email to update you on Cloud, we bought from you a couple of years ago as a 4yo. He's been an absolute star who we all love dearly, and is progressing wonderfully. He's just such a 'nice man', we couldn't wish for a more wonderful character. He does everything he's asks, is a lovely hack, and has never stopped at a jump of any sort, although he doesn't necessarily leave them all standing, as the cricket score he chalked up at his first show jumping event proved! Nevertheless, when he competed in his first cross country, he jumped clear and came 4th !! despite the driving rain and wind.

Hunter/Riding Club Horse - SOLD

ICE - SOLD
15.2hh Grey TBx
Gelding 8 y o
Ice is fab to hack out and lovely to work with, very light in his mouth and sensitive to the aids.  Not a Novice Ride.  Fantastic jumper and easy to do in every way.
23 July 2007 email from owner Rachel

Hi Lisa
Thought I'd drop you a quick email to let you know how Ice is getting on. I can't believe how quickly he has settled down it feels like I have had him for years he has become the man of the yard and leads out all the hacks with my new friends as he's the only one that will go past anything! I must say the only problem I am having with him is his dislike of water apart from that he is perfect, he lets my two year old daughter groom him and feed him. I lead him from his stable to the field without a head collar he has never once barged me out of the stable when the door is open he stands, walks, trots and canters on voice command and is jumping like a dream...I am so glad I found him, he is the best and already a big part of my family everybody loves him and he is the top horse in the field all the others follow him like sheep!!!  Thanks for having my perfect horse for me to purchase I'm so in love !!!

GLENKYLE STAN - SOLD
14.1hh Grey Grade 1 Connemara
Gelding 4 y o

PETE - SOLD
14hh Piebald Pony
Gelding  6 y o
A bombproof (a rare comment from me!) pony! I bought Pete from his breeder in Ireland whose children hunted him and enjoyed riding him round the farm.  Still a little green in the school but great out hacking, quiet and easy to do in all respects

23 May 2007 - email from owner Dawn

Hi Lisa
Thought you might like to see an official photograph of Pete doing a dressage test. This was taken on the 20th May and we scored 80 which wasn't bad as the winner scored 89. He is doing really well and we have shown him in-hand, he came 4th in the coloured class.

BENJIE - SOLD
15.2hh Chestnut Haflinger x
Gelding  7 y o

Fab, correct strong horse - qualified to the hilt for all sorts of dressage and trailblazer finals.  Professionally and kindly bought on.  Fantastic dressage and SJ - 95cm tracks - kind natured, extremely athletic for type and would make a fantastic man's hunter.

IFOR - SOLD
15.2hh Bay Welsh Cob
Gelding 12 y o
I love this horse and want to keep him for the school but he is a pet and needs one persons love and attention.  He is wonderful in the school - fantastic to hack out and just gorgeously handsome.  He is looking for a hacking home.  He does not like our mounting block (hence why I'm selling him as most of my nervous or novice clients find it difficult to mount from the ground).

17 June 2006 - email from owner Deborah

Hi Lisa
Just to let you know that Ifor has settled down brilliantly. I have stabled him at the moment but intend to turn him out once the weather is slightly less hot.. He has made a friend already - William is in the stable next door to Ifor and the other day when I tied Ifor up next to Williams box to muck him out I discovered them having a long conversation ! I have had him fitted for a new saddle and bridle..he has M&S carrots and apples for his dinner everyday. I have taken him round the fields with one of the stable staff on a quiet pony and he went through the ford like he'd been doing all his life. I am just taking it slowly and so far so good! I have lost my heart to him!! I can see why you loved him so much.

JESS - SOLD
15.1hh Tri-Coloured Cob
Mare 6 y o

Jess is a superb quality coloured mare.   She is really sweet and easy to do - a pleasure to have in the yard.  Since arriving  she has been hunting, she schools well and enjoys jumping.  Clients have enjoyed her out hacking and in various clinics and lessons. Jess is a sensible but forward ride with lovely energy - she always catches everybody's eye.  I think she would ideally suit someone wanting a nice forward riding club horse.
12 January 2006 - email from owner Lucinda

Hi Lisa
Thought I would let you know how Jess is getting on, she has settled down brilliantly and her schooling is coming on, in fact I am taking her to a dressage competition next month to see how he gets on, her flat work is getting better, we seem to have got there with her walk and trot, her canter on the other hand is slower going but we will get there, she has so much potential I can't wait to see what she can really do and more to the point what I can really do !!!!!   ...She is a really sensitive mare, I am learning what she is like more and more each day it is a privilege to have her in my life...
