About Lisa

"After qualifying as a riding instructor (BHSAI) at the age of 19 at Wellington Riding in Basingstoke I attended West Oxfordshire College and completed a three year National Diploma in the Management of Thoroughbred horses.  

After teaching at Wellington Riding, I freelanced and taught at various Pony Club events while studying at college.  The career opportunities were excellent in the horse racing industry and I have enjoyed a variety of roles working as a stable girl for Henrietta Knight and Martin Pipe to driving an HGV and working as Traveling Head Girl for Andy Turnell.  
I developed my business skills in accounting, payroll and the running racing businesses in the offices of Andy Turnells, Charles Egerton and John Hills."

Starting out young on her sisters horses ....	Lisa spent most of her youth show jumping ponies...	Since the age of 21 Lisa has worked with Racehorses

In 2000 and 2002 I went traveling and discovered a deeper self-awareness about myself.  Living in a van I discovered the beauty in the simple things in life ... the taste of organic food, the beauty in the rising sun and the sounds of the universe.

Taking courses in Reiki Seichem, Melchizedek, Holistic Massage and Shiatsu Massage I spent the year realizing the importance of living life to the full and felt the amazing benefits of living a stress free life. 

When I returned from my travels I completed a Diploma in Holistic Massage and became ITEC qualified in the September 2003.  I studied Reflexology the following year so I could complement my business of Stress Free Horse Riding and Holistic Treatments, but the horse side of Holistic Horses was growing.  I soon realised that there was going to be little time to develop these skills further, and that I was to start developing the horse business.  We moved the horses and business to Kingston Lisle in October 2003, where we continue to work and live a very grounded lifestyle!!

	Living a relaxed lifestyle in New Zealand

When I returned to England in 2002 I developed some of the experiences I had learnt travelling with my horse, Social Climber.   I am constantly amazed about how much we can learn through our relationship with our horses.  They are incredibly sensitive and reflect how I am feeling at any one time.  

I believe horses constantly reflect unconditional love like that of dogs and dolphins to humans.  The difference with the horse is that (s)he is naturally a flight animal and therefore more sensitive to human emotion.  

I'd like you to share this sensitivity that you can feel with your horse as you ride with us and enjoy.
